In the autumn of 2025, 6Fest turned into a stage for the magical when Gestus Theatre brought to life its captivating interpretation of “Thumbelina” – the timeless story of a little girl with a big heart and an even bigger journey.
Created with great attention to detail, the performance blended puppet theatre with powerful acting to reimagine the beloved fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen in a fresh and engaging way.
“Thumbelina” was adapted for both children and adult audiences. Themes of personal choice, kindness, and inner strength came alive on stage through evocative imagery, emotional depth, and poetic vision.
